Caritas Communities provides affordable housing to more than 1,000 people in Greater Boston whose median annual income is $20,700. Caritas buys properties, develops them, and rents them to low-income residents at below-market rates. 

For the past 18 years, Goulston & Storrs has supported Caritas Communities with volunteer work and pro bono legal work. Attorney, Kevin O'Flaherty serves on the nonprofit's board of directors. He commented, "the organization works hard to be good neighbors, and the communities in which it opens houses are generally very welcoming."
