Banks, institutional investors, and direct lenders rely on Jesse Rubinstein to lead complex financing transactions, including sponsor-backed acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, going-private transactions, and recapitalizations. He represents clients across the full deal lifecycle – from structuring through execution – with a focus on transactions that require coordination among multiple stakeholders and across jurisdictions.
Jesse’s practice spans domestic and cross-border matters, including syndicated and bilateral institutional loans, secured and unsecured credit facilities, unitranche financings, and mezzanine structures. He regularly advises on transactions involving multi-jurisdictional borrowers, multicurrency facilities, and layered capital structures.
Jesse previously spent a year as a secondee with a major financial institution, where he served as in-house counsel across its asset management and private funds businesses. This experience gives him a practical understanding of how lenders evaluate risk, structure transactions, and navigate internal decision-making processes.
Jesse is Co-Chair of the firm’s Finance Group, where he helps lead the firm’s corporate and real estate finance practices and advises on complex, cross-disciplinary transactions.
