General contractors, specialty contractors, and other construction industry stakeholders work with Rachel Greenberg on contracts issues and disputes. She helps clients protect their interests, manage risk, and address challenges that can affect their construction projects and businesses.
Rachel advises clients on contract negotiations, bid protests, contract disputes, mechanic's liens, and Prompt Pay Act claims. When a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, Rachel represents clients in litigation before state and federal courts as well as agencies. She also works with clients in mediation and arbitration, including proceedings before the American Arbitration Association.
When a trade partner or borrower files for bankruptcy, Rachel helps companies protect their interests by pursuing claims against debtors’ estates and defending clients against claim objections and other adversary proceedings. She has also represented commercial real estate lenders in state court enforcement actions and helps lenders assess risk and enforce their rights and remedies when borrowers default.
Before joining Goulston & Storrs, Rachel handled matters involving commercial litigation, real estate, asset recovery, and insurance defense at a regional law firm.
