Girl Scout's council sells more than 500 acres in Prince George's County

Goulston & Storrs attorneys Wendy White, Jennifer Bisgaier, and Derick Wallace represented the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital in the sale of approximately 540 acres of undeveloped land in Prince George’s County, Maryland, to the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission.

Proceeds from the sale will allow the Council to create an Outdoor Legacy Fund to expand outdoor program opportunities for future generations of Girl Scouts in the national capital area.

The deal represents one of the biggest — if not the biggest — single land acquisitions by the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission for the purpose of conservation.
