Property owners, developers, investors, educational and medical institutions, and commercial tenants turn to Jess Caamano for practical, strategic counsel in all phases of real estate transactions. With a versatile practice spanning all major asset classes, Jess guides clients through the entire lifecycle of a deal—from acquisition and permitting to development, leasing, and disposition—across Massachusetts and throughout the United States.
Development
Jess represents clients in complex development projects, navigating acquisitions and dispositions, zoning and land use issues, and permitting at the local and state levels. She drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, reciprocal easement agreements, site development agreements, and declarations, working closely with clients to structure projects from initial due diligence through post-closing operations. Her experience extends across a range of property types, including mixed-use, multifamily, retail, office, institutional, and multifamily developments.
Leasing
Jess also maintains a robust leasing practice, representing landlords and tenants in retail and office leasing for major developers, institutional owners, investors, and educational institutions. She brings particular strength to large-scale retail and mixed-use projects, drawing on her market knowledge and negotiation skills to structure efficient, business-minded lease transactions. Jess is an active member of ICSC and has spoken on panels addressing emerging trends in commercial leasing and development.
Leadership & Advocacy
Beyond her practice, Jess is a dedicated advocate for women in the legal profession. She serves on the Executive Board of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts as Vice President of Membership and Statewide Outreach, where she leads initiatives to engage members across the Commonwealth. Jess has been instrumental in developing innovative programs to connect law students and junior attorneys, strengthen mentorship networks, and expand professional opportunities for women in law and business.
